Testimonials

Professional
Since leaving the military I worked as a Class 2 driver and struggled to find long term employment that offered opportunities to progress. I came across Louis at VTA who offered me fully funded training to get my Class 1 licence. I passed the training and with help from VTA, I was able to start full time employment as a Class 1 driver. This has made a huge difference to my life and income. The full process with VTA has been very efficient and professional and I’d recommend them to anyone.

I am still a serving soldier but have been doing some driving through VTA at weekends to gain some experience doing some C+E work with several companies. I have found the application and route to work pretty seamless; I have always been given work when I am available and have always been paid on time for the hours worked without any issues. I would and have recommended VTA to other serving members.

Massive help
After leaving the army it was hard to find stable, reliable work. I already had my HGV licence from the military but no experience on civy street. I was recommended to speak to Louis at VTA and he offered me support and the chance to do familiarisation training which gave me the confidence to start driving for companies. VTA found me employment and I currently work as a Class 2 driver. VTA have been a massive help and I couldn’t thank them enough.

Thank you VTA
I joined the army in 1996 where I spent 5 years as a signaller, serving in the UK andGermany. After leaving the army I found it very difficult to find long-term substantial employment. After being introduced to Louis at VTA I was able to use my previous HGV licence with extra training provided by VTA and get back into HGV Class 1 work. I have now been employed through VTA for the past few years and I am now extremely happy with my role. All I can say is thank you VTA.
